Friends of CountyPets was created by Harris County Commissioners court to secure alternative funding for the Harris County Animal Shelter. We serve the Harris County Animal Shelter by providing resources for shelter pets, as well as the shelter as a whole. We encourage responsible pet ownership in our community through education and outreach.
Our mission is to help provide funds to support the Harris County Animal Shelter's efforts to provide care for county animals and reduce the homeless pet population in Harris County.
