Giving Tuesday

How? Easy as 1-2-3! For Giving Tuesday, November 28th, 2023 - We want you to help us raise $20,000 for Harris County Pets. We are running general campaigns focusing funds to pay for upcoming scheduled transports, animal care, and increasing heartworm treatment options to the pets in their care.

1. You may share our Donation (Fundraiser) Sticker for Friends of CountyPets in your Facebook or Instagram story on #GivingTuesday. 
2. You can give directly to the Facebook Page Donation button at https://www.facebook.com/FOCPets or the current #GivingTuesday campaign.
3.  We also utilize PayPal Giving Fund, Cuddly, Project World Impact, to collect fee-free donations.
4. Share the fundraiser donation images with QR Codes or link help.friendsofcountypets.org to encourage friends and family to donate.
5. Commit to being a monthly advocate and donor to your favorite focus.

This Year, Facebook (Meta) will match 7 Million in donations for receiving MONTHLY Recurring Donors. You may become a recurring donor through the Facebook Fundraiser running from now until December 31st. For your donation to possibly be matched, you must donate as a recurring monthly donor Fundraiser. The 2nd payment received, Meta will match up to $100, in 2023.

Note: All donations received during November for all outlets will be contributed to Harris County Pets unless otherwise restricted by personal cause through our PayPal or specific fundraising efforts such as:

• Heal a Heart Program Helps out heartworm-positive dogs become more adoptable & receive treatment from the Harris County Pets Resource Center.
• Spay and Neuter Program Helps targets high stray intake areas and offers assistance to supplement surgery costs for spay or neuter services.
• Volunteer Foster Fund Helps provide funds to those who help care for the pets with Harris County Pets Resource Center.
• Pet Transport Services Helps provide funds to move animals in care of the Harris County Pets animal center to other states throughout the country.

Harris County Pets General Funds are used to supplement budgetary constraints of other programs, such as veterinary medical supplies, food, medical care, or surrender prevention. This is an emergency fund authorizing the Harris County Pet Resource Center to purchase items in need for use at the center or in conjunction with other existing programs.
