Petco Foundation Helps Harris County Animals in the Aftermath of Hurricane Harvey
$100,000 Grant Funds Disaster Relief and Recovery Efforts
To help protect and care for the animals impacted by Hurricane Harvey, Harris County Animal Shelter has received a $100, 000 donation from Petco Foundation. A longtime supporter of Harris County Animal Shelter, this generous contribution will provide vaccines, basic veterinary care, microchips, food, shelter and transport for displaced companion animals in our county.
The Leadership Team from PetSmart Charities visited the shelter today! We are beyond grateful for the $50,000 grant they provided to Harris County Animal Shelter to assist with the community spay/neuter initiative. When you opt to donate to PetSmart Charities at the PetSmart checkout, this is the kind of local impact your dollars have!
We are so grateful to our community of supporters, and to the amazingly generous Brilliant Energy! Because of your generosity, we raised over $3,000 during #GivingTuesday. On behalf of the animals, many thanks!
Profound thanks to Jan Duncan and Houston PetSet for their extremely generous transport and wellness donation. Their kindness will long be remembered and appreciated.
