Volunteers help open their home to cats and dogs found at Harris County Pets Resource Center. The funds help supplement supplies the pets need while in their care to find a forever home. 100% directly helps increase available supplies to those who volunteer and open their homes to the pets of Harris County Resource Center.
Sometimes the volunteers who are fostering the pets can have emergency vet visits, need food, litter, grooming supplies, kennel carriers, treats, or feeding bowls. If the HCP Resource Center doesn't have any on hand, they're authorized to use these funds to help supplement those costs. We work to ensure the foster volunteers do not have any out of pocket expenses while caring for pets from the HCP Resource Center.
These funds directly go to increase available supplies and care to those pets in the care of Harris County Resource Center's volunteers and fosters. It can help cover unexpected expenses during an emergency.
